Hammond Organ

Rob began playing in bands at the age of 17 and was active on the London New Wave circuit of the early 80s. His first love has always been Hammond organ, his heroes include Jimmy Smith, Booker T and Jon Lord. Over the past few years Rob has played in a wide range of bands, including Bad Manners, King Hammond, 24 Carat Purple, The Doors Experience and more. He is currently working with Jennie Bellestar Matthias as well as his own originals band The Von Nitros. Always keen to push the authentic Hammond sound, Rob looks forward to helping mix the jazz, blues and soul stew that is The MKGs.
