John has played with various university bands in the1980s including ska band The
Deetors in Norwich.
After many years off doing other things, he resumed playing drums in 2005 playing at first
with middle of the road covers band Loaded Dice from Luton. He then moved on to west
coast rock genre band The Easy Riders from Milton Keynes playing in many local venues.
This was followed by The Greenbacks, an originals three piece blues and rock outfit and
is now with a MoR function band called Mojestic.
Now great to be playing instrumentals with the very cool MKGS.
Influences include just about anything really buy particularly like funk, soul and disco,
progressive indie and jazzy rhythms.
